As the virus mutates I expect it to commence infecting all residents of SoCal. Except for the extremely minute minority who have at least a natural partial immunity to the virus southern California will become a wasteland inhabited by a handful of humans who will roam the area picking at civilization's leftovers ekeing out a bare existence.

Basically the same as they do now but with far fewer neighbors.

I would not be surprised to learn that La Raza purposefully mutated the virus so as to kill of all the despised Gringos so that the Chicanos/as can re-populate the land and repel the dreaded Gringos if they attempt to return.
